In modern commercial operations, safety is a key factor in battery performance. Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) is the industry standard for stationary industrial applications because of its high chemical stability and resistance to thermal runaway. When compared to nickel-cobalt-based chemistries, LFP offers a higher thermal runaway threshold (approx. 270°C) and generates minimal oxygen during decomposition, reducing combustion risks.
