1. What makes YouthPOWER batteries safer than standard NCM chemistry options?
YouthPOWER energy systems use high-purity Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) chemistry. LFP is much more stable than Nickel Cobalt Manganese (NCM) cells. LFP has a higher thermal runaway threshold (approx. 270°C compared to NCM's 150°C) and does not release oxygen during structural breakdown, significantly reducing fire risk.
2. How does the BMS balance cells, and does it support external CAN/Modbus communication?
Our proprietary BMS features both passive and active cell-balancing protocols. This system balances internal cell resistance variations during charge/discharge cycles.
